What larkfeed is

larkfeed is a platform for local media companies that puts news, a business directory, an events calendar and a job board on one site.

A local newsletter operator would use it to run a website beside the newsletter and earn from upgraded business pages, featured events, premium job posts and sponsors.

A person reviews and approves every article before it goes live. WilCo Guide and Vegas HQ run on it.

Who it is for

larkfeed is for local media companies and local media entrepreneurs in any market. It is built for operators who want one site for news, businesses, events and jobs.

A local newsletter operator who wants a website that earns money beside the newsletter would use it. An operator who only wants to send email would not need it, since its main product is a website and not an email tool.

What you can do with it

larkfeed includes a business directory with claimable listings, an events calendar, a job board, owner interviews and an AI article writer. The writer turns a chosen style, brain-dump notes, photos and links into a designed article, and a second AI edits and scores it.

Automatic coverage turns city council, school board and permit filings into drafts. Every page has structured data, and there is an llms.txt guide for AI search. A person approves everything before it publishes.

Plans and pricing

Prices are not published. Pricing varies by market and needs, and you book a call to get a plan.

Operators set their own prices for what they sell, such as upgraded business pages, featured events, premium job posts, ads and sponsors. Business owners can claim pages for free. Fees are set in the plan or written agreement with each publisher.

What it works with

larkfeed works with lightbreak, which builds newsletters from the site's own content, and greetform, which handles all forms on the site. It also supports beehiiv archive import.

Each market gets scoped API keys for an MCP server and a REST API at /api/v1. Agents can list articles, events, jobs and businesses, and file article drafts or submit events and jobs. Keys are limited to one market and 60 requests a minute.

Things to know before you choose

Agent keys cannot publish, archive, change settings or manage the team. Everything an agent submits waits in a review queue for a person.

You are responsible for reviewing AI-assisted content before it goes live. You keep ownership of what you create. The operator is Luckiest Man Ventures LLC, a Wyoming company doing business as 8th Replay. Planned features, such as deals, forums, obituaries and sports, are coming soon.
