What beehiiv Ad Network is
The beehiiv Ad Network connects newsletter publishers with advertisers. Publishers place sponsored links in their sends and earn payouts based on performance.
A publisher browses up to 15 personalized offers, reserves the ones they want, and adds up to 3 ads to a post. Offers run once, and the same advertiser does not appear again for at least 7 days.
It works only for newsletters sent on beehiiv, and a Stripe Express account is needed to run ads and get paid.
Who it is for
The Ad Network is for newsletter publishers who want to earn from ads without running their own ad sales. beehiiv acts as an external ad sales team. It suits publishers with open or leftover ad slots, and ones who need to fill a gap when a direct deal falls through.
Advertisers can also use it to reach publisher audiences. Running an ad is never required, and a publisher can downvote offers they do not want.
What you can do with it
Eligible publishers see up to 15 personalized offers, with the top 3 recommended. A publisher reserves the offers they want and adds them to a post with /ads in the editor or from the Offers dashboard.
Earnings follow performance. CPM pays per 1,000 unique opens. CPC pays per verified unique click. Estimated payouts show before you reserve, but they are not guaranteed. Verified clicks filter out bots, duplicates and immediate bounces.
Plans and pricing
The Ad Network is available to anyone on the Lite plan or above who is actively sending on beehiiv. Lite is $49 a month and Pro is $95 a month, billed yearly.
The network has no plan of its own. The advertiser sets the rate and the model, so a publisher cannot choose between CPM and CPC for a given offer. Payouts go out on the 20th of each month for the prior month, into a beehiiv wallet.

The Ad Network works only with newsletters sent on beehiiv. Third-party email providers are not supported.
A Stripe Express account is required to run ads and get paid, and Stripe Identity Verification is needed. The network is non-exclusive, so a publisher can run other ad partners and their own sponsorships alongside it. All advertisers are vetted before campaigns go live.
Things to know before you choose
A publisher can reserve up to 5 offers at once and add up to 3 ads to a post: 1 primary ad with a logo and 2 secondary ads without one. Each offer runs once, and the same advertiser does not return for at least 7 days.
A publisher cannot edit ad copy, creative or format. Translated ad copy is not offered for non-English newsletters. Clicks and opens are tracked for 72 hours after the send. Too many ads in one send can hurt deliverability and engagement.
