The partner program lets you pay other newsletters to recommend yours. Referral programs add rewards, giveaways, an in-email referral section, a Referral Hub and analytics.
Plans and pricing
Paid Recommendations, Partner Programs and Free Recommendations are included free. One add-on, Newsletter Referral Programs, costs $2,000 a year.
On paid recommendations, SparkLoop withholds a 20% commission plus a small processing fee on monthly payouts. Payout rates for partner programs are not published. Recommendations need no monthly subscription fee. Plan tiers beyond the add-on and usage limits are not published.
What it works with
A 2-click, no-code integration works with 25+ email platforms, including beehiiv, Kit and Sailthru. Printful handles physical rewards. An API and webhooks are available.
Substack, SendFox and Ghost are not compatible. Other platforms may use a custom integration through support. The recommending publication's ID is stored as a custom field in your email platform. Tracking scripts cover sign-up forms and pop-ups.
Things to know before you choose
The widget shows up to five recommendations at once. There is no published minimum payout or minimum audience size. SparkLoop screens partner newsletters by hand and offers anti-fraud protection.
The $2,000 a year add-on covers referral programs only. The $2-3 per new subscriber figure is an average, not a set rate.
